After painting the creation series a few years ago, and experimenting with abstract backgrounds and patterns, these are my first truly abstract works for sale. Through texture and movement with color and brushstrokes, these paintings capture the moment of Genesis 2:7, "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." I feel that these images present the moment of bone and tissue and form coming to life as God breathes into the dust.
